Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest child of seven. Her father was serving in U.S. service in Italy. At the beginning of 1990, Adams started dancing and performing professionally for the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. Following her move to Minnesota and appearing in an undocumentary-style film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. Her screen debut was a huge success, in which she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocated to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 until September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. The decade following she was in a variety of well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
